What if We were able to control Time
After seeing an endless number of films on humans able to control time. For examples Butterfly Effect 1,2, Time Machine, Deja Vu etc. I just went into thinking what if we were able to do this in real.
Then we would really have perfect lives as we would know which action would give us the best possible result. Then no one would have realized what the meaning of failure is cos people could always chosen the right option then onwards. As a matter of fact I see any kind of failure as a means to get happiness back. If you can do everything perfectly then you wont ever feel the happiness when something goes right as for anyone to realize what happiness is, one has to know what sadness is. Same way you can’t know what success is without knowing what failure is. Whatever it is to know our feelings you need a reference without a reference we would never know what anything is. Everything in the world is relevant.
Anyways getting back to the point, if one had the ability to control time due to the constant happiness we get, we would have been living life monotonously. Also everyone’s lives would have branched into umpteenth number of streams due to the reason everyone would have rejected the stream in which something bad had happened or something that wasn’t according to them. That would have certainly split the world in a trillion number of streams in which there would beĀ no emotions just such a huge amount of happiness that we wouldn’t feel. All in all, this is too much scientific. Yet just a point of view.

interesting theory..! Though been able to control time at times in ones life would be nice, or even just a slight peak in to the future, to know if a choice is right!
I fear though if we could control time as you suggest, we would never actually get of the starting blocks, just keep going back, this could be beter, could have done this etc!

Time is one of the universe’s biggest riddles, isn’t it? Maddens me to even think of it. Well, I agree with your view about the success/failure and happiness/sadness dualities.
I personally am quite sure that the “arrow of time” runs in a single direction. As Stephen Hawking says, if time travel is indeed possible, why hasn’t anyone arrived from the future and showed us how to do it?
Nemesis:Well yea its a mystery and i hope it forever remains so. Somethings are better not to be discovered else mankind really has been destructive in certain areas and controlling time is one thing that is too much of responsibility for anyone. Again thanks for the inputs.
