In a world of smaller lies,

With harsher consequences to face,

Uncertainty seeps through every soul,

Erasing the hard grown truths with extreme pace.

Mistrust and suspicion lie everywhere,

Between the lovers as well as the best of friends,

Years of friendship and years of love,

Is gone in the miniculest of seconds.

In the wariness and fear of the worst,

Small assumptions make trust go weak,

In self protection we end up all messed up,

Behind a small lie an entire truth has become bleak.
