The Oblivious and the Rememberable

Big things dont happen without,

The small coming into existence,

Yet the small remain ignored,

Despite their importance being immense.

World sometimes goes selfish,

And forgets the one whom,

Has led them to where they are now,

Saved them from the so called doom.

They will however remember the one,

Whose caused them damage and pain,

For an entire lifetime,yet

Thats for nobody s gain.

One must rather try to remember,

The one who stood by  in the dark times,

Those who played the small tunes,

To create the bigger rhymes.

  2. writing poetry is not everbody’s forte. you my friend possess such a wonderful gift. Your poem beautifully describes the notion of the unnoticed. Its almost like we give credit to Shah jahan for building Taj Mahal but we forget the workers who lost their hands while creating the beauty!!!!
