Has distance made the difference?
How you behaved infront of me was only a pretense?
Me not being there with you ,
Has influenced my love’s value .
Have all the previous emotions disconnected?
Concern was lost and was my identity neglected?
Is there only friendship for those who are close by?
On you how can I any longer rely?
I try to erase these thoughts from my mind,
But these incidents somehow again and again unwind,
The differences show now,
Better should have hurt before than hurt now.
Expectations hurt as did the dreams,
Never thought it would would reach such extremes,
In these dark thoughts and my time gets doomed,
My entire soul gets consumed.
